Four women running a baby trafficking network in West Jakarta were arrested when a child was sent back from Singapore after testing HIV-positive, according to Jakarta police. Commissioner Mathius Salempang said that the arrested women had admitted selling four babies. "They bought the babies here for 11 million rupiah ($1700) each and sold them in Singapore for 35 million rupiah,". |
