| Long Abstract: |
Dansu, on how he was given out to the traffickers, said he was allowed to embark on the jouney by his parents after they collected stipends from a member of the child trafficking syndiicate, who shuttles between Benin Republic and Nigeria. Although, he could not give details of the transaction between his parents and the traffickers, he said he was simply instructed by his parents to get his things and go to Lagos, where he would be employed with the traffickers. According to him, he wnt to sleep that night, thinking that the journey was no longer going to hold, but was woken up by his parents at about 10.30 pm to commence the journey. |
