The material is organised into twelve sections which address the challenges of research on trafficking, definitions and language use, current baseline data, causes of trafficking, flows, routes and recruitment, consequences of sexual exploitation, traffickers and exploiters, prevention and awareness raising, assesment of national and international trafficking strategies, gaps in available knowledge and conclusion.
