Abstract: QATAR, which is exerting intensive efforts to combat trafficking in humans, should join the UN Anti-Trafficking Protocol, Dr Usama al-Alusi, an expert at the Interior Ministry’s Human Rights Department suggested yesterday. "Though Qatar is implementing the National Strategy for Combating Trafficking, signing the protocol would show to the world that we comply with the requirements of the international community," he explained.
